When was the last time that you sent your husband to buy sanitary napkins?

  • He came Home on Leave 2 days before our son was born. And On the way Home From Picking our son up from the NICU when he was released I sent him into the Store to get some b/c I ran out that morning. Poor Guy. He said He had so many looks. But He didnt mind He got really defensive to them saying his wife just had a baby and we were in the car Lol.

  • Never he only buys me Tampons. When I had my DD I went and bought my own pads before I had her, and I still have a ton from the Mega pack I bought. Prob be using them for my 2nd baby too. I hate the ways pads feel yuck!!

  • Only tampons and like last week. lol. It's easier for him to pick stuff up on the way home with no kids than for me to drag them all back out.

  • Never. That's one thing he refuses to buy. And even if he would, I'd be too worried he'd buy the right thing. So I don't even ask him to do it.

  • I only use tampons and can't get my dh to even step foot into the woman section. So he has never bought me tampons.

  • I did a couple times because like an above poster said, it's easier for him to pick stuff up on his way home from work, but he always get the wrong kind, so now I just do it myself.

    And we call them "things to throw at muggers" after Dave Barry's column where he wondered why they were called "feminine protection"--"do you throw them at muggers or what?"
