  • While the Journal lamented the fact that we were exploring for oil offshore in Brazil and not in our own country, it did not suggest the deal would take jobs or income away from Americans. That's because it won't. A spokesman for the U.S. Export Import Bank, Phil Cogan, explained to Politico that the bank does not rely on taxpayer money. Moreover, the bank lends money to foreign companies so that they can purchase American goods and services.

  • We LENDING money when the US is broke AND Obama is supposed to support the development of green renewable energy. Ha! It would seem this administration isn't as concerned with the environment as we were led to believe.

Drilling offshore in the US is a big NO, but drilling offshore in Brazil is fine. That is just wrong.

  • Well, there just aren't words for this one.

3 guess the ecosystem and the ozone and all that crap that stops is from drilling here don't exist in Brazil. Yeah.

And If we borrow money at 8% interest and the lend it out, doesn't that make sense? I don't think Obama even reads the shit they put in front of him, he just does what he's told.
