how early can you get your baby on a sleep schedule?

  • our dd was on a sleep schedule by 3 weeks old. She didn't sleep THROUGH the night, but she did sleep consistently.

  • 3 weeks started, 4 wks was sleeping through the night, with 3 naps during the day.

    here's mine:
    wake 7:30
    nap 9-11
    nap 12:30-3
    nap 4:30-5:30
    bedtime 7:30

  • Advocates of sleep training say six MONTHS.

    Personally, I think putting a baby on a schedule is like herding cats. lotta work for little profit. They ALL learn to sleep on their own when THEY are good and ready.
