using aussie shampoo on color treated or dye hair

I just started to use aussie shampoo because the shampoo I was using was started to weight hair down but now I need to get my hair cut and dye. But I heard that if you use aussie shampoo on colored treat or dye hair will dye out your hair or fade your color is this true or will it be fine to use this shampoo on my hair.

  • I never heard that. I use Aussie now. When I was coloring my hair I always used Treseme for color treated hair. Thats what my colorist said tot use, that it was just as good as the expensive stuff, but only $4 a bottle, intesd of $20+

  • Aussie is decent but not that great...Joico is better imo.

  • Claypac is the best for color treated hair, though just as toxic as anything at the grocery store:

  • I know Aussie used to have a version for color treated hair, maybe they just don't carry it in the store you shop at.
