  • Does the baby not sleep due to this or is it more annoying that he/she mattress surfs in their sleep? Most children mattress surf. I had to turn my DD's monitor off b/c she moves so much and then I can't sleep.

  • Like pp said, if it is just movement wheile sleeping then no worries. Just like adults, some babies are more restless sleepers. My dd moves around the crib all night long. If you baby isn't sleeping thought due to movement then I would consult your pedi.

  • My baby sleeps through the night, its just that she moves around constantly. I don't know if she's having a bad dream or if she just dreaming alot during the night. But I do appreciate everyone's help and advice.

  • I'm not sure why they do that, but my son has always moved a lot in his sleep. He still does at 14 months old. It's rather normal. :)
