anterior placenta?

I'm about 34 weeks preggers and I had a 4D ultrasound today, the tech said my placenta is anterior...is that good or bad?

  • its neither, just means your placenta is towards your belly button and not your spine... if you havent felt hard kicks or as much movement as you would have thought this is why. my placenta was anterior

  • Mine is as well. Just found out because it said it on one of my ultrasound pics. I had to ask. They said if it was a concern they would have notified me. Not a big deal at all!

  • I found out the same way- at my 3d/4d... no problem at all, except she hid behind it and it was hard to get really good pix.. nothing medical :)
