  • no im not surprised, now that the newness of an "african american" president is done and over with, everyone realizes the mistake they made, they elected a man into office based on his color, and his charisma during a speech, and not actually realizing the brand of "change" they were in for..lets spend spend spend!! that will fix the problem..not

  • We shouldn't forget that he won the election so despite the disaster he will still have his "people". (I'm not saying what your think that I'm saying.)

  • anon :52, I don't know why you had to go THERE.  I don't give a flip what color he is.  I don't think his voters consider it a mistake (although some might).  We all have different ideals.  Disenfranchised voters came out in droves for this election because of the possibilities, the anger at Bush, the youth vote.  It is not so hard to believe that a good portion of those voters believed that he could really accomplish what he said he would and bought into the idea of 'Change'.  Unfortunately, they didn't all consider the fact that all politicians lie and that he is just more of the same.  All of his additional spending isn't helping our current economic situation and I think that's the reality that people are dealing with.  JMO.
