Are the Anglican Church, The Church of England and The Episcopal church the same?

  • Yes I believe they are.  Both the Anglican and Episcopalian churches use St. Georges Cross which is the flag of England.

  • Yes & no. What are now Episcopalian churches were Anglican churches before the Revolution, however once America broke from England we "couldn't" have a great number of our churches under the control of the British crown. So while it is the same religion & I don't believe there are any philosophical differences, I believe they are completely separate organizations.
