  • At home it was once he was able to sit up in his booster seat (around 5 months old)... i'd just strip him down to his diaper. When we were out it was about 9 months or so when he was making less of a mess while eating.

  • while my kids don't wear a bib anymore. We do tuck in a napkin in their shirt if we are out somewhere. On occasion I have bought the disposible bibs and used them at certain resturants. at home if we are having something messy they will take their shirt off or have plenty of napkins/paper towels by them.

my kids are 4 and 7

  • Probably around the time they turned 1. But they still used them until 2 for really messy stuff (like spaghetti). I occasionally tuck a paper towel or napkin into my younger 2 girls' shirts when they eat messy food. They are 3 and 6 but otherwise we haven't had bibs in the house in a long time.

  • Wow! My daughter stopped wearing one around 2 1/2. Sometimes at home I still make her wear one if its something messy or she has on a white shirt and she is almost 4.
