Hard time pooping...

I've got a three week old and he has been having a really hard time pooping...hes already on sensetive formula.
I've been giving kayro syrup in one bottle every other day but I dont want him to depend on it...Should I take him to the doc or wait it out?

  • I would give a little diluted apple juice and belly massage before the syrup.
Maybe she is lactose intolerant or something? Try a soy formula?
    Or ask her pedi

  • My dd has a hard time pooping too. I heard you shouldnt do karo syrup because its too hard for them to digest *not sure if thats true or not, havent tried it* but my doctor said its perfectly normal to go up to 4 days without pooping. My DD goes 3-4 days sometimes, and is extra fussy. I would consult a doctor. switch formulas, and try tummy time and stretch out his legs. We "run" her legs back and forth. The exercise helps work her bowels through.
