  • Every child brings a lunch at my child's school. With the exception of pizza day. We have an understanding that when my son is hungry he can go to his lunch box and get a snack. We do pack extra. Rice cakes, cereal bars, cereal, gold fish, crackers, dried fruit, peanut butter crackers (not banned yet but won't be surprised if peanut butter will be out soon). We also pack extra drinks. This is just in addition to his lunch where he has yogurt, applesauce, ect.... For snack nothing messy. Just easy things he can open and clean up easily without the need of spoons or extra utensils.
