what is a 'birthing plan'?

i saw it in another post, i've never heard of that before. my doc doesn't really tell me stuff either, i'm 31 wks and i don't even know where to go when labor comes, but i'm going to ask him at my appt. tuesday.

  • a birth plan is something between you and your dcotor, is like you say if you wnat an epidural or not, if u want to be in the tub while in labor,.what positions you wnat for pushing. if you wnat the baby to be placed on top of you once you deliver, who will cut the cord.stuff like that

  • im pretty sure a birthing plan is like your plan for when you give birth. whos going to drive you to the hospital, what your going to pack in your bag, if your going to get an epidural.. etc.etc. but i forget exactly what it is. look it up in your search engine.
