Are burning bowel movements reallya symtom of teething???

My sons are both having a hard time teething(one 2 yrs and the other 10 mos) and both have had these really strong acid like poops that burn and crack their bums instantly while teething...my mil says its from teething... is that normal????

  • Yes it is! When they teethe, they drool alot. And that drool is swallowed throughout the day. It does upset their stomach causing their stools to become loose and acidic. So when they have a BM, it will burn.
