  • Well, different tires (per size) require different cold inflation psi. You should be able to check the manual that came with your car. If you don't have the manual, you should be able to cross reference the tire size with the vehicle model and find the psi you need. My car recommends 42psi - yours could easily be different. Sometimes you can find the recommended psi on the sticker in your drivers side door. However, I think the best advice is to check with the maker of the tire and inflate to their recommendations for that particular tire.

  • if you take it to a gas station like BP they will help you inflate the tires to the proper level. I just did this they were so nice and my tires were really low! Get on it fast because you loose a lot of gas mileage with inproper tire pressure!

  • Check your owners manual. It will tell you in there

  • You can also look on driver's side door of your vehicle. When you open your door, look on the side of it and there should be a label with information on it like your vehicle's VIN#, etc. It also lists what pressure your tires should be inflated to.
