  • do the BRAT diet... Banana's, Rice, Applesauce, Toast .... the items will bind up the intestines... watch him though, if his stools are very smelly you might want to see the Dr... there are intestinal viruses than he could have... if you are not putting butt medicine on him start now, he can get raw very fast.... even if you don't see anything now ... good luck

  • is he throwing up? if he is then yes do the brat diet....otherwise i see no reason to change his diet for diarrhea....just make sure he gets plenty of liquids so he doesn't get dehydrated.

  • I wouldnt be worried about what he ate as much as what he drank. I would be pushing those liquids continuously....that is a long time for a little one to have diarrhea.

But I do agree with the other moms....brat diet.

  • Try the "brat" diet, which is, Banana's, Rice, Applesauce, Toast and for the dehydration give him water or Pedialyte and if he starts throwing up too then you can stick to the pedialyte and jus keep him hydrated.

  • As long as he is eating ok you shouldn't have to feed him a BRAT diet that's more for throwing up. Diarrhea is ok just keep pushing fluids more like Pedialyte or Gatorade. Feed him foods that will bind him up. Cheese, Yogurt, etc.
