Is Journalism a dying profession?

  • No. I really don't believe so. It's just that the dynamics of the profession has changed. Meaning, that instead of the story coming to them, they are out there every day looking for the next big story, so to speak.

  • No, but journalism is a hard field to get anywhere in especially if you have a family. The higher paid jobs are all about DEADLINES! When I first started college, I wanted to be a broadcast journalist. I changed my mind after a couple journalism courses. I don't like the censorship that comes with being a journalist. They say the media isn't biased but you'll shortly learn that it is.
