  • Only if you live in "obamaland." Kinda like Candyland, but you gotta pay the piper.

  • No...not here on this planet.

Answer by sunnymom3 at 2:39 PM on Aug. 23, 2009

  • When it does it wont have much at all if anything to do with Obamas spending tripling our deficit. As there has not been that much of the monies thrown around yet. This is a cycle and the economy would pick back up even without him spending like a crazed child with mamas credit card.

So now our children and grandchildren are stuck paying for the ridiculous spending

  • Not here. It's actually a little worse.

  • Not around here. NC has unemployment over 11%.

  • Unemployment is up, profits are down. Existing home sales are "up" but then when you look at what percentage of them are dirt cheap foreclosures it's hardly something to celebrate - it's not a case of people trading up, but of some hoarding while others are homeless. Even with cash for clunkers, overall sales are down. Consumer confidence sucks and tax revenues are coming up short all over the country because even though they're due, people can't afford to pay them. Landlords are starting to lose their tenant properties because the tenants can't pay and it takes a month or more (and a lot of money in fees) to evict each one.

  • It is if you are looking at the facts and not basing all your beliefs on your blind hatred of Obama. All the economists are agreeing that not only America but the rest of the world's economy is on the upswing. We have a long way to go but it is happening.

  • All the economists

That statement alone proves you are not dealing in facts

Answer by NotPanicking at 3:46 PM on Aug. 23, 2009

  • The economy is getting worse and will continue to decline under this administration. There are numbers out that by 2011 45% of homeowners will be in financial trouble or have their homes in foreclosure.

  • Here in Fl. it is awful. I have 2 empty homes on either side of me. I can not find a job and unemployment is going through the roof.
