DDs dads other baby momma

so it not that i dont believe her or anything i just want to know what she ment
he son was born a month early
she had to get a c-section
(now my 6 month old DD is a sister)
she said its cuz her son was breech and she has a heart shaped utrius
so he was like half in it or something
what do u other moms think she ment by that????

  • This is called a bicornuate uterus. The uterus is shaped like a heart and sometimes can have a divider in between. I'm a Mother/Baby nurse and I've seen where the placenta is on one lobe of the heart and the baby grows on the other (in this case the membrane seperating the two caused the baby's arm not to form). So this is what she was talking about. Hope this helps!

  • Some women have a uterus, that is, well...shaped like a heart!

    Picture a heart right now. The top is two "humps" that meet in the middle. What happens when you have a heart shaped uterus is that sometimes the baby's head will get stuck in one of those humps, and they can't turn around into a vertex position, so they stay breech, which leads to a C-Section.
