  • I believe spoiling a kid rotten is...

-buying them every single toy they ever lay eyes on and bring up to you in a store.
-doing their laundry for them even when they're teenagers.
-giving them money for nothing in return, even if their room is a disaster.
-never ever ever ever disciplining them in any way because you want to be their "friend".
-feeding them whatever they want whenever they want it, even if it has 2000+ calories and a million grams of fat.

And...uh...that's all I can think of right now. I was spoiled rotten as a kid and it did nothing but harm me as an adult.

  • no discipline whatsoever
gets a toy purchased for them every time they go to the store

  • I really don't think it's a matter of how much they have, such as toys and things. But it's the attitude they have. They are ungrateful, disrespectful, and rude.

  • You have to teach the child to be grateful and respectful. My def of a rotten child is one that never receives discipline.
