I'm wanting maternity bottoms (shorts, pants, kulots...) that fit BELOW my belly. I can't stand the wasteband over the belly! Do you know any good brands?

  • Dont look at meternity clothes. I dont like the over belly pants either, so I just found whatever clothes they had for pants with stretchy waitsbands. I have found quite a few, but still primarily live in pajama pants. They are the best for me and most comfortable.

  • The pants they sell are all above the belly too... Good luck finding them, I only found a few at Burlington coat factory. They have quite a lot of cute jeans, not so good on shirts though. I went in store so not sure about your location or online.

  • Old Navy has the best maternity pants. I have 2 pairs from there that are below the belly.

  • motherhood maternity has some that are underbelly and self belly. and their full panels you can roll down or fold down to where you want to wear it.

  • That's funny. I don't like the below the belly band pants, I prefer the full coverage ones because they stay on my body better and I'm not constantly hiking them up all the time!! BUT I can never find THEM at the stores!
Sorry, I don't have any advice though.... Just thought it was ironic :-p

  • I had a lot of good luck at Gap Maternity. They have all sorts of belly styles.

  • I second (or third!) Old Navy. I had both kinds, and it really depended on my mood and comfort at the time. By the end with my last one I had knit gauchos in 3 or 4 colors and that's all I wore! (He was 10lbs!) and I was miserable at the end! Anyway...Old Navy is my vote :-)
