is there any way to "know" if your dialting

Besides going to the dr... i know they check, and i dont want to check myself, but i mean is there a certain feeling, or pressure or anything that makes you go "oh i think im dialiting"

  • nope. you can check yourself though, its almost always safer than the doctor doing it since you know what hurts, what doesnt, and the gloves doctors wear arent sterile unless they came out of a sealed pouch.

  • No sensation. Usually losing your mucus plug means you're dilating, but not necessarily by much, and it still doesn't mean anything.

  • There are women who feel their dilation-- they say they do feel it (not with their fingers). I haven't noticed it exactly, but the twinges & sharp pains in that area could have been dilating or pressure on nerves from baby moving down... ??

  • LMBO checking yourself is safer than the doctor doing it and is NOT dangerous. If it is you shouldnt have a penis up there either.
