  • Yes but it is philosophical.  Buddhists don't worship a deity.

  • Not in the literal sence of the word. Buddhists can believe in god or not, it's up to them. Buddhism itself is a philosiphy and can work in addition to most religious paths. In todays world however it has taken on the form of religion and it's followers treat it as such. But like all faiths there are those that look at things one way and others another... There is room for a deity, but not any spacific one... I hope that make sence... PM me if you want to know more, I have a great post in one of my groups!

  • Buddhism is a religon as righteous as any other faith. The universe itself is the divine omnipresence revered by buddhists and boddasitvas enlightenment is attained through prayer and devout good will to all living beings.Siddharta Buddha of guatama is similar to a philosopher in the way he emphacized free thought, so unlike most ancient religons zen, theravada and mayayana were not intended as dogmatic laws to abide by but rather as tools in helping others and onesself ceace suffering through humlity and enlightenment. Thus despite the fact that there exists not one definitive text and has not a monotheistic or pantheistic worship structure Buddhism is definitely without a doubt a valid and noble religon..enlighten yourself look up the vastly known fact of the validity of Buddhism. religon is defined as devoutness and dedication to a holy life which monks and adherants to this respectable faith certainly are.
