What is the website to check my area for sex offenders? I live in OH

  • the website you can go to is http://www.familywatchdog.us/Default.asp
    its free... just put in city,state, zip code... you get the map of everyone in your area.... you click on anyone thier pic comes up and information about thier offense.
    it makes me sick how many people come up everywhere....

  • one way is your state's state police department.

    another way is through the website of the National Missing and Exploited Children's Center.

    There's also a website called family something that gives links I think but I'm not sure what it is.

    My state lists level of offense and offense made plus age of victim plus street addresses also and those who are not being monitored also who have last known addresses in my state.

    Some though are not that progressive. I know MA used to not, maybe still does, give towns on certain tiers of offense.

    It's scary I know. My kids are teens and older and I'm still vigilant.
