Has anyone ever been evicted?

If so, exactly what is the process? Did you have to go to court?

  • it depends on your lease and stuff like that. to make a long story short in most cases your landlord HAS to give you 30 days to relocate, after you get a notice. i was 17 when i got my first place and i was evicted when i couldn't keep up with my rent and they took me to court to get the rest of my lease term (which they never got..lol). it varies from state to state so try and get some more info online for your state. im in NY and that's how it works here.

  • pierced.. you laugh like its funny that you bailed on your responsibilities wow ..winner.. no wonder so many people in debt! i personally own a duplex and if i evict someone there is a good freaking reason, and if they refuse to pay or move out i would most def. take them to court, be adults pay your BILLS don't raise future debtors
