What can I make for dinner with hamburger meat?

I can't buy any more groceries for 2 more weeks, and about 90% of my stock of meat is hamburger meat (because I never cook with it). So for the most part of the next 2 wks, I'll be having to cook with hamburger meat. Any ideas? I hate hamburger helper, and I usually only cook a rice casserole or spaghetti with it. I need something new.

I pretty much have all the staples in my kitchen, if that helps any.

  • If you have Bisquick, you can make a cheeseburger pie. Go to the bisquick website and it should have recipe for it. You'll need: Cheese, eggs, milk and of course the meat and bisquick. I made it once because we didn't have alot in the house and now it is a family favorite!

  • Mexican lasagna:
    1 can enchilada sauce
    1 can refried beans
    1 pkg taco seasoning
    1 lbs ground beef
    1/2 jar salsa

Brown the ground beef and drain it then combine the first 5 ingredients, layer tortilla, then meat mixture, then cheese. Bake for 25-30 minutes covered at 350.

Goulash is good, just brown the meat, season it. Toss with cooked elbow macaroni, spaghetti sauce and mozzarella and bake 30 minutes at 350 (covered).

This casserole is good, brown the ground beef and some onion and drain. Combine a can of tomato soup and the meat/ onion mixture and a can of drained green beans. Put the mixture in a casserole dish and top with mashed potatoes and cheese (I like Velveeta because it melts well). I like it with instant potatoes, but my hubby prefers real mashed potatoes.
