How do I relieve swollen breasts if I am not breast feeding?

  • Hot showers can help sooth the pain and so can cabbage leaves, I've also heard a tight bra helps. You really just have to wait it out though. Good luck!

  • there are some hot/cold jell packs you can buy that you can put on them when they are sore, either heat them in the micro or freeze them

  • Do NOT do a tight bra unless you want mastitis. That's one of those old wives tales. **smile**

    Cabbage leaves in your bra will relieve the engorgement.

  • cabbage leaves - tuck them in the bra. there's something in them that help to stop the milk production.

  • Ice packs, Advil, hot shower and massage your boobs. I heard that cabbage leaves help too, never tried that but that was on Doctors or some show like that.
