  • I think at about 1 or 2 weeks. Not exactly the start....
However, in my CM baby group, many women didnt have theirs sleeping through the night until 4-6 months, and even now at 8 months there are a couple mamas still having trouble. Hang in there.

  • My daughter woke up every two hours until she was 11 months old. She is now 12 months and sleeps 4-6 hours a night without waking.

My son slept through the night from 6 weeks on... it just depends on the baby, there is no way to know.

  • My son woke every two hours like clockwork (seriously, I set my clock by him more than once) until we moved him to his own bed at 18 months. Between 3 and 6 months, he slept a solid seven hour night every night. Then he got a little sick, had his six month growth spurt, and never returned to the old sleep pattern until he was in his own bed. Every baby is different. :-)

  • None of my kids slept through the night until they were weaned...even my 17 month old nurses at 9pm, 2:30 am and then again around 6 am. We are in the process of moving him into his own bed so we will see what happens!! I do know many moms whose breastfed babies were sleeping through the night at 6 weeks...

  • First born slept through the night almost immediately (definitely by week 2). Second born is almost 9 months old and she is just now consistently sleeping 4 or more hours between feedings. I still end up feeding her in teh middle of the night but I'm getting used to it and happily we are both able to go right back to sleep after she fills her tummy. Good luck to you!

  • I can't remember exactly. With my first, he had horrible reflux and never slept for much at a time. He went on medication at 3 months and started co-sleeping around 6 months. Probably around that time, we were getting more than 4 hours at a time. Maybe it was a bit sooner. With my second, his reflux was caught earlier and he was a better sleeper because of it. I think he was sleeping more than 4 hours around 2 months or so.
