160 and still a boy

i went to the hospital and the heart beat was 160 that sounds a little to high to be a boy and ive heard that girls parts can be swollen and look like a boy is this true?

  • The heartbeat thing is a just an old wives tale, there's no actual proof and if you have had more than one ultrasound saying it's a boy..then it's probably a boy. although stranger things have happened.

  • A baby's heart rate has nothing to do with it's gender. 160 is not "too high" to be a boy.

  • my baby's heart rate was 164 one time, 167 another, Im having a boy

    my friend is also having a baby pretty soon and its the same for her
