  • I gave my son rice cereal first then moved him into oatmeal. From there we tried him on scrambled egg..plain. Then scrambled egg with spinach and cheese.

He also liked cinnamon raisin toast at that age.

  • my son is 13 months and loves campers breakfast (eggs, bacon and cheese scrambled together)
-whole grain toaster waffles (not the healthiest but they are so nice on busy mornings...) I give them to him with kiwi or blueberries
-toast with cream cheese or just dry
-plain yogurt blended with fuit (strawberries work well)

  • I like hot breakfasts for me and my kids when it starts to get cold out this fall - oatmeal with fruit, grits (yes, we live in the south) with cheese, cream of wheat, etc. My son also loves scrambled eggs and whole wheat english muffins. He eat Cheerios when we're in a rush - my middle children used to eat them dry out of a cup in the mornings when I took their older brother to school.

  • My daughter is 17 months old. I have been feeding her watermelon slices, bananas, and grapes (cut into fourths) since she was about 14 months.

She won't eat cereal alone so I put the cheerios in with craisins, raisins, and goldfish. She thinks it's a snack then and has no problem eating it.. :)
