wht to do for a bbys tongue

my 4mnth yr old daughtr has had her tongue white evr since she began to drank formula..any suggestions on how to get rid of it??

  • It might be thrush, a yeast infection. It usually looks like milk on the tongue or in the mouth. You should have your doctor look at it.

  • yeah its trush my daughter had it too, she was prescribed an antibiotic....its pretty normal but only meds will take it away

  • sounds like thrush. my daughter is just getting over it (she's 5 months old) take your daughter to the pedi and they'll give her nystail (sp?) oh, and make sure you check her cheeks for white patches.

  • Does it wipe off? If it does, it's just formula "sticking" to her tongue.

    If it doesn't, it might be thrush and it would be a good idea to at least talk to the doctor.

  • don't baby get this from the bottles not properly being washed and sterilized?
