i was told that after having a baby i can not wash my hair for 40 days, is this true

  • Not at all true, an "old wives tale" which is false.
    Have you read "What to Expect When you're Expecting"? I recommend it, and there are tons of other good parenting and pregnancy books out there.

  • That is totally untrue! If it were true, id be up a creek cuz i washed my hair in the hospital on the day i took my baby home. But its not. Theres nothing wrong with washing your hair.

  • My husband washed my hair in a sink in the hospital the next day after a c-section..that is so untrue.
