How long is your child up before...

you fix them breakfast? As soon as my two year old gets up we change his diaper (still wears one to bed), I fix him a cup and put on cartoons. He watches them for thirty minutes in the morning. During this time I fix him breakfast. Once in a while I cheat and give him a bowl of cereal, then we eat a late breakfast. So he eats first thing every morning. I was wondering how many mothers wake up and pretty much start breakfast first thing. Usually it's just simple things- scrambled eggs with toast, a sausage and cheese sandwich, or hashbrowns and sausage gravy...

  • Our routine is.. wake up, get sippy cup of warm milk, change his diaper while drinking it then I got and get some fruit and yogurt or make eggs and feed him breakfast then change his poopy diaper. Refill his sippy with water and he plays.

  • My boys usually want breakfast right away. They switch up between cereal and oatmeal or fruit and toast or something, they don't like to wait for a full-on They either drink chocolate milk or juice.

  • my girls ages 4 and almost 20 months makes it pretty easy for me lol. They don't want nothing, but cereal for breakfast they love their cereal lol. I offer other things, but they say no they want cereal. They eat pretty much as soon as they get up after they eat breakfast then I get them changed and start the day.

  • My daughter gets a sippy of cold milk first thing. Then, to lure her to eat something, I put a plate w/fruit and sometimes dry cereal on the coffee table. Hopefully, if she eats some, she'll poop and have enough appetite to eat a sit-down breakfast an hour later.

  • My daughter is already telling me within the first 10 min of being awake "I'm hungy" lol. So I put cartoons on as well and give her something to eat while I make coffee. My 8 month old usually eats about an hour after she gets up.

  • My 4 yr old gets juice right away then I wait for him to decide between french toast or mini wheats.
Those are the only 2 breakfast foods he likes!! He hates eggs so much he got mad when he found out you need eggs to make french toast, but he got over it after about a week and wanted them again.
My 16 yr old and my 22 yr old eat first thing because they want to brush their teeth and won't eat after they brush.
