Should Cafemom hire a doctor to help answer questions?

I think that would be cool, to have a couple doctors online at all times in here...

  • It would be a cool idea, but since CM is a free service, perhaps they can get someone to donate like 2 hours at a time or something. Also, there have been a lot of answers that I've read that a nurse or doctor has answered....perhaps those mothers would be willing to do it.

  • it would be nice considering how many people on here have serious misinformation.

  • I don't think a doctor would do it just because of the liability.

  • It would be a cool idea but with all the advertising on this site there should be no need to donate their time....I am sure cafe mom could swing it!

  • No. People should consult their doctor. The one who knows their history.

  • Im a nurse, and answer some of the questions as I read them...... I doubt they could keep a doc on staff for the questions, it would be too much of a liability. Im sure Im not the only nurse that cruises through here and answers things...... anyone want to pay for my nursing advice? Im extra poor
