How do you poat a topic? What is a bump?

New to this and am curious!

  • a bump is used in groups to bring a topic up to the top of the list again before it drops out of sight onto the next page. You can post in the topic, which also will bring it up, but if you want the topic to come up and don't have anything to say, then you write "Bump" and people will know that's what you had in mind.

    To post a topic in a group there is a button that says New Topic. To post a topic here in the Questions area, put your cursor on the Answers button at the top of the page, and the drop down menu says "ask a question."
