"bump" ??

what the heck does it mean when people leave the word "bump" as their reply to a post?? I guess I'm a little computer lingo illiterate??

  • It means that they didn't know what to say, so they are just saying bump so the post gets a response of some sort, thus keeping it active.

    Or like PP said its a way to "bump" the post back to the top of the viewing list to get more readers

  • It's like doing the "Hustle" - You use your hips to 'bump' the person next to you. :)

    I'm just fooling around.

    It's to keep the post active enough for other people to notice it and answer it.
