Are you going to give your LO the H1N1 vaccine??

I have a 6 year old stepson that I'm terrified is going to bring the flu home - but I don't feel comfortable with the vaccine either....what do you think?

  • I have a really good immune system, I rarely ever get sick. My mom credits that to breastfeeding me till I was 2. So I'm not worried about ME getting it and I'm planning on keeping my son home as much as possible. I'm going to ask the doctor how safe it is and then go from there. Are they still doing the regular flu shot too? If so I will probably get him that.

  • I don't use new vaccines because they always find terrible problems with them later.

  • I wouldn't get the vaccine. My DD was just a baby when we were living with 2 school ages children with 2 more practically living there. They got sick. She didn't. (she was exclusively breastfed)
