I'm new to Cafemom. What do all the abbreviations mean like DH, DD, DS, etc.?

This may be a stupid question but I'm new to cafemom and I've noticed all the abbreviations when someone talks about their children or husband or whatever. I know SO means significant other...or am I wrong about that? Can someone explain the abbreviations please?

  • Lol...I didn't know until I asked either! I usually just spell out "husband" or whatever, but DH is "darling husband", DS is "darling son" and DD is "darling daughter". Oh, and LO is either "little one" or "loved one", I still don't know. You're right on SO. Hmmm...what else, lol? I don't know, but welcome to the site.

Oh....I thought of another that took me forever to figure out. TTC is "trying to conceive" :)
