what do i do for hicups?

i have a 5 day old baby and every time she eats she gets hicups right after i was woundering what i can do to try to prevent this or try to make it easyer on her?it doesnt seem to bother her but it bothers me. please help me

  • mine is 4 mo. and she used to do the same and i found that if i stop a few times in between the feeding, like in the middle and burp her, that dramatically reduced her getting the hiccups.

  • hiccups won't hurt's worse for you than for them :)...mine had them in utero and still gets them if she eats/drinks too can give a few more sips of milk and it should help. If not, they'll go away.

  • Hiccups don't hurt for babies like they do for us. It's bothering you more than it's bothering her! Just let them pass when they will. She won't hiccup forever! =)
