  • I live in Washington State, I have a 2 bedroom apartment, about 850 SF, with a W/D hook up (and my washer and dryer!) and our rent is $300/month (plus we pay ALL utilities). But that is NOT normal, we are VERY lucky to have found the place. Actually, the city I live in is SUPER SUPER nice (its like a suburb of a bigger city) and any other place the same size would be $550+. And no, we do not live in low income apartments.

  • We're in Washington, near Seattle and our house is 1300 sq ft, 3 bed +a bonus room and it's just under $1300. That's our new house that we're moving to next month.

Our current apartment is in base housing, and it is $1160 a month, 2 bed, 900 sq ft.
