how can you plan the sex of the baby and when it's born?

my friend is pretty different. she has had how she wants her family to be since she was 12 years old. hello!! we are 24... little childish.

here's the point of this boring question. how in the hell can you plan what sex you want and when it's birthday is going to be?

get this, she wants a girl first and she wants her birthday to be on september 8th because that is the day she and her now hubby met each other 6 years ago. then she wants a boy 4 or 5 years later and wants his birthday to be somewhere between october 23rd-november 22nd because she wants a scorpio baby like her mom and plus she wants her kids birthdays to flow. idk... i'm confused.

how can you plan that? and is that stupid?

  • you can "plan" roughly if you figure about nine months from when you decide to actually make the baby. For september you'd aim for December ...probably a few days before and after the actual date you want , such as December 3 - 12 or something like. For that October to November time frame she'd have better luck because it's a wider range and plan on January 22-February 22 or something like that. This is, of course, providing that there are no "issues" and the babies come on their actual due dates and stuff like that.

As for whether it's male or female she can't really do much (that I know of) to determine that. It's just whether X or Y wins in the showdown LOL.

  • I am snickering, but there are books written on choosing the sex of your baby, and it is about increasing the percentages of having one sex over the other. One of the factors was acidity or alkalinity of the vaginal tract. She can get a book, but I suspect she'll love her little bundle of joy no matter what the sex! As for birthdays flowing, and she mentions astrology she might want to rethink that as 2 signs next to each other on the wheel probably won't get along as well as the compatible sign, and the rising sign will be important. While she talks about flow and astrology if she's serious she'll have to get an astrologer. Planning birthdays? Come on, her ovulation date will have to be on the perfect day for the perfect birthday. She's going to have wonderful babies and love them no matter what, and don't worry about it.

  • You can choose an approximate date by making sure you DO conceive on the right month...yes, that's possible if you chart.

You can choose an exact delivery date through induction or planned c-section. Not saying that's smart.

You can choose gender by being artificially imseminated with sex-separated sperm on your chosen conception date. Nothing else is certain.

But all that planning...and the babies are gonna toss all your pctures out the window anyway.
