15 month old sleep schedule

My bg goes to bed around 6:30 - 7 p.m. Wakes once to nurse around 3-4 a.m and then wakes up between 8-8:30 a.m. She takes one nap between 11:30 and 12. She only sleeps for around 1-1.5 hours. Is this normal? Is she getting enough sleep?

  • I think it is because she goes to sleep pretty early. I bet if you put her to bed a little later the nap time would increase.

  • Sounds right to me. My 14 month old goes to sleep at 7/7:30 for about 12 hours. He takes one nap at 10, and it lasts anywhere from 2-2.5 hours. Your child sleeps more than 12 hours at night, she probably doesn't need to nap more than 1-1.5 hours. If you want her to nap longer, you can try waking her up a little earlier and see what happens.

  • Sounds normal to me. My son is about the same age. Goes to bed at 9:00pm. Sleeps until about 9am. Naps for 1.5-2 hours sometimes between noon and 3pm. He only takes one nap unless he is going through some sort of funk. Occassionally he naps 1 hour after dinner. But that is usually if his noon nap was interrupted or he had an off night where he woke up frequently.
