Anyone know where i can find the lyrics to this children's song??

60 seconds makes a minute something sure you can do in it
60 minutes makes an hour work with all your might and power
24 hours makes a day time enough for work and play
7 days a week will make __________

and that is all I remember of it. It goes on to explain the months, leap year, etc. I had it on a kid's CD but can't find the CD and I'm trying to help my kids learn the months and seasons and I know the song has that in it. Does anyone else know this?

  • Sixty seconds make a minute, something sure you can learn in it
    Sixty minutes make an hour, work with all your might and pow'r
    Twenty-four hours make a day, time enough for work and play
    Seven days a week will make, you will learn if pains you take
    Fifty-two weeks make a year, soon a new one will be here
    Twelve long months a year will make
    Say them now without mistake
    Thirty days hath September, April, June, and cold November
    All the rest have thirty-one, February stands alone
    Twenty-eight is all its share, with twenty nine in each leap year
    That you may the Leap year know
    Divide by four and that will show
    In each year are seasons four, you will learn them I am sure
    Spring and Summer, then in Fall, Winter, last, but best of all.

    Here you go!!!

  • Here's a good one but I'm still trying to find yours.January nips the fingers,
    February's ice and snow;
    March wind whistles down the chimney,
    April showers make things grow;
    May brings tiny buds and blossoms,
    June pretty flowers everywhere,
    Warm July our nation's birthday,
    August ripens peach and pear.
    School begins in warm September,
    In October leaves all fall,
    Turkeys come in bleak November;
    Then comes Christmas, best of all!

    Okay i've tried to find it and have failed, i looked through childrens song lyric's via yahoo i typed in childrens song lyrics and looked through a few, but you might want to keep trying on that one. I also found an awesome website while i was browsing http://www.kididdles.com/lyrics/index.html if you want some diffent stuff until you find that one. good luck

  • Sixty seconds makes a minute,
    Put a lot of kindness in it.
    Sixty minutes makes an hour.
    Work with all your might and power.
    Twelve bright hours make a day,
    Time enough for work and play.

  • Drewlove, I wonder if the CD I had put that one and a few other songs and kind of combined them. That first one is the first part of this song, so I am assuming they must have just added to it or something.
