...had a false positive on a HPT?

  • Only certain drugs can cause a false positive.

    Other things such as not reading the test within the alloted time and mistaking an evaporation line for a positive reading is human error, NOT a false positive.

    Pregancy tests are accurate. False negatives are common though.

  • No. I don't know how that is possible when it detects the pregnancy hormones in your body. Unless you recently had a M/C.
