  • No but it'll decrease the sperm count and reduce your chances of getting pregnant. That's why they say to have sex on the day OF ovulation because your husband has built-up all of that sperm and wil have a better chance at having one reach your egg.

  • Every other day is the recommendation. Ask your doctor. You cant count on knowing your exact day of ovulation, so if you only have sex once you might miss your chance. Every other day is enough time to rebuild the sperm supply.

  • Yeah but sometimes all it takes is once. Just ask the teenagers that get knocked up.

  • no its fine.
in fact built up sperm starts to die and can decrease their motility. sperm doesn't live forever, it regenerates. usually they (docs) say to have sex every other day before ovulating and on ovulation day. but there are some studies i have recently heard about that are saying have sex everyday for that week before. that way the best sperm make it to the egg. all it does take is once. but having sex only once gives you only that chance. so the more the merrier, right?! lol
