Best way to serve an avocado to a toddler?

Do I just cut it open, scoop out the insides and squish it up? It's for my 16 month old.

  • I would actually cut it into cubes and let him eat it as finger foods. It may get messy, but he may be more inclined to eat it if it something he can do. That's how my daughter eats them. She won't touch it if it is mashed unless she gets to hold the spoon.

  • For a 16 month old, definitely chunks (they are fun to squish).

  • I used to roll mine in either crushed (into fine fine crumbs) graham cracker or corn flakes. just a thin layer of breading to keep them firmer and easier 2 eat
