if you get food stamps

if you get them and at the end of the month you have money leftover does it add on to the next month or do you always start with the same amount each month?

  • its added on...least it was when i had it years ago..i got 160.00 a month and if there was 7.00 left over come next month i would have 167.00...

  • It rolls over but make sure you don't have to much left over because they will think you don't need the amount they gave you.

  • it adds on to the next month. But, if you continually have a good amount left over each month they may re-evaluate you get and change your benefit amount.

  • It rolls over to the next month. You don't lose them if you have them left....

  • in AR(kansas) it rolled over. - LOL, I love how everyone in ANON. :-D I'm sure it's just because you don't want to get harassed by the "ANTI-FOOD STAMPS" crazies. We were on food stamps a few years ago and when we were (we were on them for about a year or two), they rolled over. :-D

  • rolled over... and you dont always get evaul;ated for having larg amounts left over.... i havent used ours all summer becuase ive been gone... they called and i told them i was on vacation
