  • Keep things quiet and dark at night, and normal sounds and light levels during naptimes.

Keep in mind that infants are designed to wake a couple of times a night. Sleeping through is a mere five hours. Dusk to dawn generally doesn't happen in year CAN but don't expect it.

"Sleep training" methods are not recommended until six months.

  • Where did you get the idea that a two month old is supposed to sleep through the night? While some do, most don't. My daughter was 8 months old before she slept six solid hours.

Nap when the baby naps and try to enjoy this time.
