  • Hi Gran. We get our kids footie PJ's from Childrens Place in our mall. I think right now they are on sale for 3 for $20. I've been getting thier PJ's from thier since my 5 year old was born and I have 3 kids, we keep our house cool at night and they stay warm. Heres a website, they do have the thin ones but I get the thick ones. I dont know how old your grand daughter is but heres a website to start you out...hope it helps!

  • They have fleese ones like that. They should be plentiful now that cold weather items are out in the stores. You can try a sleep blanket, too. Swaddle if appropriate it. If old enough, maybe a blanket -- if she odesn't turn alot, you can tuck a bigger one into the sides of the crib.

  • Try a sleep sack. They are wonders! My daughter loves hers and you never have to worry about the blanket covering their face. You can find them online if you cant find them in stores. I've only been able to find them in stores once it gets closer to winter.

  • We use sleep sacks for our LO too. Much better than covers! We found the Halo brand of sleep sacks at Babies R'Us, but I've seen other sleep sacks at Target and Walmart too. They can be cotton or fleece.
