my 5month old is coming down with his first cold any natural remedies you recommend?

  • breastfeeding usually helps because the immunities from your body
    if not water can help flush the toxins out

  • The best thng you can do is to just keep nursing him through it - breast milk is a natural healer.

  • If you do not breastfeed, get something like Little Noses saline drops. It helps clear the nose, is safe to use. Other than that, i dont think there is many more "remedies" for a baby. There's not much you can give them that young.

  • I don't know if you would consider this natural or not, but run a humidifier in their room. With my LO's first cold, she had a little cough and stuffy nose and the humidifier really helped. That and the saline drops.

  • Saline drops, if she is really congested sit in a steamy bathroom with her.

  • if you bf, you can squirt some bm into his nose. it's just as good as saline drops, but it's free and works great.
