  • It is Bush an Cheney's war, not Obamas. Did you forget? And Cindy Sheehan just spends her time protesting. She went after George W several years ago. Now she's going after Obama. But she should be going after Cheney and CIA , the Contractors and Military people who want to keep it going.

  • Obama is not going to like her. She will probably be the first to be put into prolonged detention.

  • The press stopped covering her after her first year. From time to time they will check in on her.

  • She is a psycho, but now she is Obama's psycho.

  • It has nothing to do with Obama, she's just old news. The media has found a new way to talk about her by saying "Where's the media coverage of Sheehan?" (By the way, Rush, Beck et al ARE the media, in case you were not aware.)

  • It is interesting. When I have asked where have the war protesters have gone, some have said there aren't any because everyone is happy with the way Obama is handling the war. Apparently, not everyone is happy.

  • Obama wouldn't have the war in Afghanistan to worry about if Bush hadn't started the war in Iraq--it isn't now Obama's war! Sheehan was protesting the wrongful death of her son in Bush's war--now she protests for the same reason but for other soldiers.  Her platform now is that Obama didn't order everyone home on 1/22--ignoring the now reality of the fragility of the countries in which our soldiers are stationed.  She is publicly mourning and has lost her focus quite significantly.

  • This is about the 4th time in the last few days that I've heard about her. She's still making the news occassionally.

  • The fact that Obama ADDED more troops the region instead of slowly withdrawing them, means even HE knows it is necessary, and while Bush may not be in office, this would be one of those thingies that Obama inherited, adn now, must deal with. Failure to deal with it appropriately will affect his public perception--assuming he cares about the public (which he doesn't).

He's been in office for over 7 months....can we say that HE is the president and can now officially take responsibility for whatever he does or does NOT do?!?? Or like Bush, do we need a national tragedy to occur within by the end of the 8th month, to then start making him 100% responsible?! Just curious! :o)
